Duffcoffshore is the Stewards Department on the Research Vessel Endeavor, the pride of the Graduate School of Oceanography at University of Rhode Island's Bay Campus in beautiful Narraganset, Rhode Island.

It is the "Hospitality" center on board the vessel which is owned by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and  operated by the Graduate School of Oceanography (GSO) at URI under a cooperative agreement. Narragansett, Rhode Island is the home port of  R/V Endeavor.

We take the preparation and serving of high quality food very seriously and take no short cuts in bringing you the freshest, most nutritious meals and snacks possible.

In our "Food Lab", we cover any reasonable diet restrictions or concern including but not limited to;

Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatorian, Wheat Free, Paleolithic, Gluten Free and Organic if necessary. As we cook from scratch, it's not difficult to adapt any restrictions to any dish.

Foraging the finest suppliers , we load immediately before departure and make the most of regional and local products to give you the best "farm to table" experience.

Our professionally trained stewards are foodies and guarantee to delight you all day, every day.

We prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as two coffee breaks each day, while at sea, so there's plenty of energy to help you accomplish your demanding work schedules.
